**Disease Chapter Lead Image Acquisition (M/F/d)**

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversees the medical support for the Image Acquisition disease chapter by ensuring a collaborative and effective work environment across global, regional, and local medical experts and high performance
- Contributes to and fosters the envisioned cultural change to a disease management value medicine focused viewpoint. Collaborates with commercial disease chapter lead and actively shapes strategy, scope, and priorities
- Leads and coordinates the identification of potential medical needs and value based opportunities related to the Image Acquisition chapter in collaboration with brand medical leads, the regional and local medical affairs teams as well as with external advisors, by early mapping of imaging service pathways and value chains, disease management, treatment options and trends and diagnostic options leading to identification of untapped areas of opportunity for the radiology portfolio
- Profiles the medical imaging landscape and continuously updates this knowledge, including knowledge and expertise in products, patient imaging and treatment trends, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, and scientific activities
- Establish and maintain successful interactions with thought leaders, medical societies, and patient organizations
- In collaboration with Operational Excellence group contributes to development of disease chapter related medical and scientific content for communication material and subsequently of global training programs, scientific publication, thought leader identification and management, disease chapter related data gap identification and oversees the design, conduct, analysis, reporting and publication of disease chapter related non interventional and interventional studies
- Provide medical governance for all customer facing materials and events for the Image Acquisition disease chapter

**WHO YOU ARE**
- M.D. degree witha specialization/expertise in clinical areas with marked connection to diagnostic imaging (e.g., radiology, oncology, urology, neurology)
- Longtime experience in medical or clinical positions, experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Leader with strong skills and high motivation as well as experience in effectively managing risk and compliance issues
- Strong written and verbal communication, motivational and interpersonal skills, and high degree of fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Capability to effectively work in agile teams and entering into co creation with external partners and thought leaders.
- Execute his/her responsibilities with knowledge, accuracy, persistence, resilience, and creativity seeking to work both independently and collaboratively
- Embrace change and be able to work in a changing global environment, with proven capabilities in managing diverse teams with or without direct reporting lines across cultures and geographies.
- Track record of successful project management and overall budget responsibility with a strong background in organizing event like scientific symposia, preparing, and leading advisory boards and collaborating with healthcare organizations
