**Your tasks**:
The M&A team of EEX Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior M&A Professional. Our team executes on inorganic growth opportunities that help accelerate EEX Group’s development. We work in close collaboration with the diverse business units across the group and focus on process steps such as target identification, valuation, due diligence and project management, incl. alignment with all relevant stakeholders. In your role as Senior M&A Professional, you lead M&A projects independently. For example, you create financial models and value a company based on different methodologies. You source new projects through interaction with the industry and experts. You hold presentations for reporting and decision purposes, e.g. to the Management Board or for our quarterly investment report.

**You bring along**:

- University degree in economics or business studies, with a specialization in finance, or similar
- Initial work experiences allowed you to cover the full M&A process, at least for 2-3 years
- Analytical skills to summarize and communicate complex topics, as well as conceptual knowledge in the field of financial analysis and business valuation
- A keen interest in the energy sector and exchange trading
- An autonomous way of working and the ability to deliver results in an agreed timeframe
- You are a team player and fond of open and transparent communication
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
