Your Responsibilities will be to- Professional management of the pre-contractual phase- Prepare and present bid comparisons, decision matrices.- Prepare and enforce all contractual terms and conditions according to the needs of each client, including the organisation of logistics (delivery times, contract design, etc.)- Develop and simulate optimal purchasing conditions for the start-up phase and series production- Ongoing risk assessment and responsibility for compliance with timeframes, costs, targets and technical specifications- Qualitative and quantitative assurance of parts availability- Carry out project-related price and value analyses and prepare make-or-buy decisions- Close collaboration and coordination with the respective interfaces of the locations, e.g., development, manufacturing and suppliers, within the JE Purchasing organisation

Our Requirements- University degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar discipline- Experience in the areas of strategic and operative procurement / project purchasing for minimum 5 years- Knowledge of international purchasing / contract law- Negotiation skills and assertiveness- Commitment and creativity- Strong communication skills and experience in a technical, intercultural corporate environment- Familiarity with international matrix organisation is an advantage- Travel from time to time mainly in Germany and Europe- Business fluent in English- Confident handling of MS Office tools Excel, Word and Powerpoint, ERP system
