- Plans, directs and executes the units manufacturing plan.

- Ensures conformance with Howmet standards, policies, regulations, and procedures within the scope of authority.
- Maximizes customer satisfaction through deployment of the SOP (sales and operation plan) and on-time delivery of products which meet required specifications.
- Continually improves the OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) of manufacturing processes.
- Seeks to improve profit performance across all product lines through continual cost reduction.
- Effective inventory management to reduce days on hand and maximize cash flow.
- Being a change agent, developing Company culture and sharing best practices.
- Creating profitable growth providing a long-term vision for the site.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Develops annual revenue and manufacturing plan in consultation with other senior-level unit leaders to ensure proper deployment of resources to achieve required levels of production and to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Provides positive leadership to subordinate managers and to all assigned employees. Ensures open communications and responds to employee concerns in an appropriate manner. Seeks to improve the knowledge, skill and ability of people. Deals proactively with substandard performance.
- Interfaces directly with key customers, in concert with Sales & Marketing Management and Account Managers to resolve problems related to delivery, quality and other issues. Strives to address customer concerns in a responsive, professional manner while protecting the interests of the Company.
- Coordinates activities with other departments such as Sales & Marketing, Engineering/R&D, Purchasing, Accounting, Information Systems, and Human Resources. Secures required resources and consultative support from staff units as required.
- Participates with Purchasing personnel to develop partnerships with vendors which produce mutually beneficial arrangements related to purchased item quality and pricing. Ensures that concerns and issues related to purchased resources are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Interacts positively and effectively with personnel, both internal and external to the organization. This will include but not limited to include factory floor personnel, management at various levels throughout the Company and governmental regulators. Participates in external activities to secure a positive community image of the Company.
- Provides technical manufacturing assistance to other components of the organization, including Company units both external and internal to HFS.
- Analyzes and directs the preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests to secure required capital equipment for projects meeting or exceeding capital return targets.
- Directs the activities of assigned human resources and makes recommendations on hiring, disciplinary actions, promotions, demotions, terminations and salary adjustments, with the appropriate justifications.
- Manages all tasks involving hazardous chemicals or hazardous wastes in accordance with government and statutory regulations, and business operation procedures outlined in the Environmental Management System.
- Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Company Guide to Business Conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Assure the integrity of the overall HFS Corporate and local Quality systems.
- Manages the team to ensure that product integrity is maintained at all times. That product conforms to industry, and customer requirements and meets the designated specification.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements
**Education:
- Minimum of Bachelors’ degree to be in Engineering, Business, Operations or related field.

**Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with five (5) or more years of that time in senior-level leadership roles.

**Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, supply chain or continuous improvement is preferred.

**Skills
**Basic skills:
- Knowledge and experience with lean and SMART manufacturing.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, peers, senior-level leaders, customers and vendor representatives.
- Communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Desire to work independently, prioritizing and completing multiple work assignments in diverse fields with mínimal direction.
