**Your contribution to TenneT**:
As Financial Controller (all genders) you are responsible for the closing process as part of the Financial Governance Services Integrated Reporting team at our Bayreuth location. In close collaboration with your colleagues you ensure that the following most important tasks are performed:

- In this role you are part of the monthly, quarterly and annual **closing process** and support the preparation of **the group reporting packages** of the TenneT Germany Group based on IFRS and the annual statutory financial statements based on HGB
- You support **the preparation of consolidated financial statements** on the level of TenneT Germany and ensure that all financial statements are **compliant** with the relevant laws and regulation
- You ensure that **significant balance sheet movements** are properly explained in the quarterly prepared analysis
- You are in close contact with the **external auditors** and **the accounting, tax and controlling department**:

- You will work with colleagues of diverse backgrounds in a dynamic environment where **flexibility** is key
- You support the organisation by **solving accounting topics** and collaborate on projects and special topics (e.g. implementation of legislative changes, process optimisation, M&A transactions)

**Your profile and background**:

- This position requires an academic working and thinking level and a relevant university degree in **business administration** with a focus on **accounting & controlling**. Alternatively you have a comparable qualification
- You have profound working experience in the field of **analytics** and solving **accounting issues**:

- You are result oriented with a critical attitude with respect to the results, process and quality
- You show** independence**,** initiative**, and **the ability to work in a team**, and **strong communication skills**:

- ** Business fluency** in both** English** and** German**
