Junior Buyer

VIVERE was founded in 2018 with the vision to disrupt the consumer goods industry. We are a data-driven incubation platform for next-generation consumer products and brands. We have launched more than 10 brands and 250 products in 16 markets across several categories including lifestyle, beauty, wellness, pet, and garden care. VIVERE operates a vertically integrated setup with in-house marketing, design, research and development, production, supply chain, and digital sales functions. We sell through Amazon, our own e-commerce, and 3rd-party retailers. VIVERE also serves as an end-to-end incubator for well-known artists and influencers who want to build their own brands.

For our Hamburg office, we are looking for a Junior Buyer (f/m/x).

Reporting directly into the Director Supply Chain Management, as Junior Buyer, you will be collaborating with an international team to develop and continuously improve world-class cosmetics and next-generation consumer products.

Tasks
- Operationalize supply chain for new (sourced) business opportunities from scouting, offer comparisons, and negotiations to contracting suppliers
- Orchestrate internal and external communication and alignment across relevant vertically-integrated functions, e.g. Brand Management, Design, and Planning
- Take a proactive approach to suggesting alternative features to improve product KPIs (cost, aesthetics, complexity, etc.)
- Understand and keep abreast of the latest industry as well as regulatory trends
- Develop pool of strategic suppliers and manage relationships with them
- Establish methods to optimize supply flexibility and working capital
- Leverage our data model and tech stack (e.g., ERP) to maximize work efficiency
- Coach procurement staff and ensure high-quality and consistent support
- Ensure continuous improvements regarding cost, quality and lead time KPIs

**Requirements**:

- Strong academic performance in business economics and/or other relevant studies
- Ideally 1+ years of work experience in supply chain/procurement at leading companies
- Organised and can effectively manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks
- Great communicator with the ability to build excellent relationships both internally and externally
- Strong analytical skills and can interpret key sales data
- Thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment on a mission to disrupt the FMCG industry
- Demonstrate strong will to get things done and resolve problems by taking ownership no matter the obstacles
- Willingness to learn and advance quickly, taking responsibility from day one
- Affinity with consumer product development and operational processes
- Excellent analytics and project management skills
- Proficient in English with German advantageous
