JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Hamburg, looking to recruit a new CAT B1 Mechanic to join their team.
This client is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft, from commercial to VIP and special mission aircraft. This vacancy is available due to growth within the organisation.
This is a Permanent Position based in Hamburg.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance and modification work and certify that it has been carried out properly.
Other Duties Involve
- Carrying out and certify secondary inspections, random, final and completeness checks
- Troubleshooting, determining remediation measures and editing documentation as required
- Instructing employees with lower maintenance authorisations professionally, coordinating and confirming the proper execution of maintenance work
- Taking on specific functions and special tasks
In order to be successful in this role the CAT B1 Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
- Completed technical vocational training and experience as CAT B1
- Professional experience in the field of aircraft maintenance with all authorisations required
- Knowledge of the maintenance regulations of international aviation law
- At least two external completed specialist courses in control technology
- Knowledge of the interaction of electrical and mechanical components
- Suitable for tanks and shifts
- Good English and IT skills
- Readiness for assignments at home and abroad
