The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.

**What you will be doing**

As ANCS (Automation, Navigation & Control Systems), we transform how vessels perform to create the safest and most efficient journey for our customers - always with the vision in mind to navigate towards a more sustainable maritime industry. To be better tomorrow, we need the right talents today to complement our strong team of 650 employees in over 10 countries across the globe with the right skills, experience and a winning attitude: Currently we are looking for a Working Student for HRBP support with a focus on recruiting.

In this role you will work side by side and hand in hand with the Lead HRBP of ANCS. ANCS (at this point still) belongs to Wärtsilä and although our team is small, we can rely on a global HR organisation to support us.

**As a working student you will be responsible for the **following tasks**:

- **You are the right hand of the Lead HRBP** and ensure that everything related to People and Organisation within ANCS runs smoothly today - and going forward.
- Talking about onboarding, once hired we want to ensure every new talent has a great onboarding experience. **One of your first projects will be to prepare a global onboarding call for our new employees that will take place bi-monthly.** For our local new joiners in Hamburg, our biggest office, you will design, coordinate and manage a bi-monthly local onboarding day.
- **You will take over administrative duties **such as running and analysing reports, updating org charts, and support with the upcoming divestment of ANCS (we are divested from ANCS and will have to gather a lot of information for the upcoming due diligence).
- **You will support in the management of the annual clock HR processes for ANCS** such as Target Setting, Achievement Reviews, Merit Review, and more.

**Your Profile**:

- **You are based in Hamburg and enrolled as a full-time student** at a German university/university of applied sciences
- **You speak fluent English and ideally good German**.
- **You got a minimum of 15 hours per week**, ideally 20 hours per week, to spend in this role. During the semester break you can work more of course.
- **You want to learn more about HR in a global environment.**:

- **As your focus will be recruiting, some experience related to this is a plus but not needed. More important is the right attitude**:You got an open personality, you are able to learn quickly, you dare to take over responsibility and jump into cold water, you are a people person and enjoy working with people. Your very good communication skills help you navigate through any conversation and situation.
- **You are reliable, you focus on results and deliver as promised. You are structured and analytical.**
