The focus of the activity is the establishment of a highly sensitive liquid biopsy methodology for monitoring the disease progression of patients with lung cancer in the context of the validation of the TheraSure CNI monitor under immune checkpoint therapy in NSCLC in palliative therapy.
**Therefore, the following qualifications are required for the above position**:
- Completed scientific university degree (master or equivalent) in the field of genetics, molecular biology, biomedicine or related sciences (human medicine).
- Laboratory experience in the field of molecular or cell biology
- Knowledge in quantitative data analysis and statistics
- Knowledge in the use of common statistical software (e.g. SPSS, STADA or R)
- Good German language skills in word and writing (comparable to language level C1) for the
- preparation of German patient data and files
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English (comparable to language level C1)
**Desirable are**:
- Basic knowledge of plasma separation from blood and cfDNA extraction from plasma samples
- Basic knowledge of molecular methods, e.g. PCR
- First experience in publishing clinical and/or non-clinical studies in the medical field
- Commitment, flexibility and ability to work in a team as well as independently
