**About the position**

**Tasks**:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, evaluations, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely information to management, stakeholders, and regulators.
- Budgeting and planning: Develop annual budgets, financial plans and forecasts in collaboration with the relevant departments and monitor performance against the set goals.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Risk management: Identify financial risks, assess their potential impact, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's financial interests.
- Compliance and auditing: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations (e.g. regulations and reporting standards) and, if necessary, coordinating external audits.
- Strategic Planning: Working with senior management to set financial goals, develop long-term financial strategies, and support the organization's overall strategy.
- Internal controls: Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to comply with financial regulations, protect assets, and mitigate financial risk.
- Liquidity management: monitoring cash flow, optimizing working capital, and coordinating activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Oversee Accounting and payment processing.

**Profile**:

- A degree in business administration, finance or a similar field.
- Proven work experience as a financial controller or in a comparable position and certification.
- Extensive knowledge of financial accounting, financial analysis and budgeting.
- Experience in preparing financial reports and interpreting financial data.
- In-depth knowledge of internal control procedures and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret complex financial information.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant financial laws, regulations and reporting standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High integrity, reliability and confidentiality in the handling of financial information.
- English business proficiency; German is a huge plus.
