**Senior Accountant, Germany**

**Location: Germany**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and submit the statutory accounts in accordance with national accounting standards
- Lead local audits when it is required by subsidiary size as part of annual reporting
- Assist with group audit of subsidiaries
- Support of corporate income tax reporting and other local taxes, oversee VAT reporting, assist in tax audit
- Maintain two sets of accounting books according US GAAP and HGB
- Lead corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual close of subsidiary’s books
- Support day to day accounting and financial activity of subsidiaries
- Assist with integration activities on acquired companies
- Partner with international shared services organization where certain accounting functions have been centralized
- Take ownership of cash flow reporting and forecasts
- Ensure proper revenue recognition and maintaining local transfer pricing in accordance with OECD principles
- Support group controls environment in accordance with SOX principals and implement process improvements to enhance controls
- Other projects, as required

**Person Specification**:

- At least two years’ experience in reporting accountant role in Germany
- Fluent English and German languages
- Experience with NetSuite or similar system
- Big 4 experience or experience in multinational corporation with shared accounting function is a plus
- Independent and timely achievement of assigned tasks
- Successful communication with diverse accounting teams
