Junior Quality Assurance Associate

**Your mission**:

- Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring top-notch quality and food safety? Join our dynamic team at Mushlabs as a Junior Quality Assurance Associate In this role, you will work closely with our Quality Manager to establish, maintain, and optimize our Quality Management System (QMS) to deliver exceptional products to our customers.- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to achieve quality strategy and objectives, providing valuable input.
- Implement and adhere to company's quality, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Support HACCP plan development for new products and processes.
- Identify and communicate quality issues promptly to the Quality Manager and Head of Operations.
- Independently handle complaints, ensuring smooth business continuity and proposing innovative solutions.
- Enhance food and hygiene standards with a focus on microbiological design for continuous improvement.
- Manage internal documentation and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners and suppliers.
- Participate in quality management system visits and audits, reporting findings and supporting corrective actions.
- Promote a strong quality culture throughout Mushlabs.
- Join cross-functional projects aligned with our OKRs, contributing expertise and insights.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, quality management, or food engineering
- General knowledge of science and food technology, food legislation understanding
- Quality systems, general food safety knowledge
- Previous working experience at a food production/start-up company (desirable)
- Project and team management and/or cooperation, ability to influence others
- Knowledge of food products, safety and quality risks associated with
- Fluent English, German desirable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams and departments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
- Great self-organisational skills
