We are on the hunt for a Lead SEO & Content Automation to set sail with us. Your aim will be to scale our deal and travel content by automating (repetitive) editorial processes to source, produce and evaluate content. The role therefore drives AI-Assisted workflows that tap into the expertise of our local market editors, with the ultimate goal of automating routine tasks. This will allow our editorial team to dedicate more time to producing impactful and engaging content. A strong emphasis on process management and cross-functional collaboration is required for this role. You will be leading the SEO team (consisting of a technical SEO & SEO content specialist) and be the driving force behind our cross-functional ‘Content Automation Taskforce’ with Front-End Engineers, SEO specialists, a Machine Learning specialist and a Content Marketing Manager.

**DUTIES ON DECK**:

- Coordinate the central production of SEO content, leveraging automation tools for translation and ensuring smooth distribution across all 10 markets.
- Prioritize the SEO content production process between markets, aligning efforts with commercial interests and evaluating reach potential to prioritize content production and distribution
- Facilitate and develop a multi-market approach for AI-assisted content creation for our editorial teams
- Define automation workflows by fully analyzing our entire content architecture mapping out all content types and workflows.
- Drive the cross-functional Content Automation taskforce to deliver end-to-end solutions for automating editorial workflows
- Lead the SEO team, focus on their development, lead team meetings, foster a collaborative environment

**YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience in SEO content distribution across international markets, with a strong focus on AI-assisted process automation (e.g., content planning, text generation and translation tools).
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects involving cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in overseeing both technical and content-focused teams within a digital or SEO environment.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English.
