Smartly.io is looking for a HR Working Student to join our People team in Berlin. Working in our global HR team and with colleagues on the Berlin site you will have a great opportunity to build experience and knowledge in the field of HR. In addition you will help to organize our fun, encouraging and international team to run the office smoothly and efficiently. In this position you get exposure to a diverse set of Human Resource topics in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment

**As a HR Working Student at Smartly.io you will**
- Support our HR Operations. This includes many HR related tasks, such as preparing contracts with a keen eye on employment law and data protection, setting up and maintaining HR systems and helping our employees with their variety of questions.
- Assist new employees during their onboarding. You get to help us coordinate orientation sessions, including office tours and make sure new team members have everything they need.
- Work on new projects and process optimization. We strive to better our processes constantly and there’s always something new coming up. You will have the chance to design and develop around HR projects with your fresh eyes and ideas.
- Help around the office. To make sure our Berlin team stays as happy as it is, you will ensure our Berlin offices are fully supplied and well organized. This includes e.g. handling incoming correspondences and organizing social events to boost our teams’ engagement.

**We are looking for you if you**
- Are keen to expand your HR knowledge and grow as an HR professional. Previous experience in HR is seen as a plus but your attitude matters the most
- Have a hands-on mentality and ability to prioritize your work when needed.
- Have a positive attitude and honest and friendly approach when helping your colleagues or employees.
- Have the ability to work independently and systematically. You also have an eye for details.
- Have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Are comfortable communicating in German (min.C1) and have a solid proficiency in English.
- Are interested in tech companies, AdTech and data. Ideally you know G-Suite and have heard of Slack before.
