We are currently building our team and now searching for

**Senior Specialist Sustainability Reporting (M/F/d) - 100% Remote**

**Your daily tasks**:
Strategic Oversight of Data Collection & Analysis:

- Lead the development and execution of the company’s sustainability data collection strategy across all departments (energy, emissions, water use, etc.)
- Ensure that systems are in place for collecting and validating accurate data that aligns with business goals and sustainability objectives.

Sustainability Reporting & Strategy Development:

- Manage the preparation, drafting, and finalization of sustainability reports, ensuring alignment with global reporting standards (ESRS, CSRD, EU GBC, LEED, or BREEAM)
- Establish and oversee the reporting strategy, ensuring it integrates with company objectives and provides clear insights for senior leadership.

Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration between departments and act as a
- Act as a key liaison between senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to align sustainability reporting with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

- Oversee the company’s compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring that sustainability disclosures meet both local and global standards.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to sustainability reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data and reports.

Industry Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

- Lead the monitoring of ESG trends, regulatory updates, and best practices, integrating these insights into the company’s sustainability reporting strategy.
- Drive the continuous improvement of sustainability reporting processes, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Team Development & Training:

- Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to execute reporting tasks efficiently and in alignment with industry best practices.

Project Management & Resource Allocation:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and timely delivery of sustainability reports and related projects, ensuring resource allocation and task delegation aligns with business priorities.
- Manage timelines for report submissions, working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure milestones are met.
- Ensure that project documentation is thorough and that audit trails are maintained for all sustainability reporting processes.

**What we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sustainability reporting or ESG, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Expertise in sustainability reporting standards (e.g.ESRS, CSRD, EU GBC, LEED, or BREEAM) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of ESG trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to executive teams and external stakeholders.
