**Intercompany Accounting Specialist**

**About the role**:
Working in an international environment while being part of a local accounting team you will be reporting to the Supervisor Accounting & Reporting. The role is supported by an external Service provider to perform recurring manual entries and processes, whereas more complex or new business cases are handled in house.

In this role, you will work closely with different functions such as Tax, IT, Controlling and colleagues from plants or different locations.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Coordination with external Service provider, creation and update of Standard operating procedures for outsourced processes.
- Manage Intercompany incoming invoices, provide accounting specifications for standard and non-standard invoices; monitor EDI inbound and solve problems of blocked invoices.
- Manage Intercompany Outbound invoices based on contracts or ad-hoc cost charges.
- Maintain and Create Intercompany contracts.
- Lead monthly Intercompany Reconciliation Process and Cross Company Clearings
- Process intercompany Netting and manual payments.
- Review Intercompany Vendor and Customer Aging and take action on aged items.
- Process Expat Cost Recharges In
- and Outbound.
- Maintain GR/IR Account for I/C Stock transfers.
- Issue Balance Confirmations on request.
- Support initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures or system environment.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Languages: fluent in German and English.
- Solid VAT Knowledge.
- Experienced to work with internal and external Auditors.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of generally accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures. You are an expert in Excel (comfortable with pivot table, v-look up) and have ideally a strong knowledge as a user in SAP.
- You will bring background in Finance & Accounting with a Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a similar position and environment. Being a strong communicator, organized, proactive with problem-solving and interpersonal skills; your ability to interact effectively and appropriately independently but also as part of a team will help you to reach your goals.
