Responsibilities

The Vice President / Director in our Munich team will be a critical member of PJT’s expanding DACH Coverage team with direct involvement in both deal execution and business development, working on lean deal teams with direct exposure to the most senior practitioners. The role will span across a number of sectors. Given the lean nature of our teams all our bankers are flexible and should be prepared to work in sectors/countries outside their main area of focus.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including the analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestures.- Leading the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements; work with senior management and coordinate associate / analyst materials.- Building and maintaining local M&A knowledge (public and private), and maintaining a network of other advisors in the industry- Attracting, mentoring and training of junior talent- Participating in both internal and external client meetings and presenting effectively.

Qualifications- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree- Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience- Resume must be in PDF format- Fluency in English and German is required
