**We want you for...**: To build up our **PMO **team in **Karlsruhe** we are looking for you for a **full time** (40h) and **unlimited position** as **Junior Project Cost Controller (M/F/d).** **Your mission**: - You are supporting project cost control to comply with existing procurement and cost processes/procedures, ensuring a comprehensive audit trail. - You will take care of administering and compiling various project cost reports, including actuals, VoWD, forecasts, and accruals. You will perform actual vs. budget analysis, EAC calculations, and trends analyses to ensure accurate financial tracking. - You will support with forecasting expenditures, planning budgets, and classifying costs by type. You will also track man-hours, verify supplier invoices, and manage change events that impact project budgets. - You will verify cost allocation against work orders and ensuring the correct coding of requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates, changes, and variations. - Your mission is to controll project cost outcomes by monitoring and analyzing variances. You will recommend interventions to address discrepancies effectively. - You will collaborate closely with accounts payable to ensure invoices are correctly coded to jobs, facilitating easy expense tracking. **Your profile**: - You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Construction. - You have experienced a minimum of 2 years of working in construction projects. - You have a proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel. - You come with strong analytical skills, effective communication, and excellent interpersonal abilities. - Your mindset is proactive with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. - You are a team player with a hands-on mentality, meticulous attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop further. **We offer**: - ** Flexible working hours** as well as possibility for **mobile working**. - ** 30 days’ vacation** (based on a 5-day week). - Onboarding program **"Vulcan Starter Days**".
