Join the Advance Analytics team at Daiichi Sankyo as a Data Scientist, where innovation and inspiration drive our work. In this exciting role, you'll develop products that empower data-driven decision-making in a commercial setting.
As a Data Scientist, you'll create solutions using data, machine learning, and AI. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you'll identify business opportunities, develop hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and share insights with stakeholders. You'll also advise business stakeholders on interpreting results and choosing the best solution strategies. Finally, you'll help bring selected products to production and scale.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform business decisions
- Develop and implement predictive models to support business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions
- Conduct A/B testing and other statistical analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies
- Create and present data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning
- Optimize algorithms and models for performance and scalability
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts
- Implement and adhere to data governance and privacy policies

**Education & Professional Experience**:

- Master's or in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Strong software engineering skills in Python with ability to write efficient, modular and testable code
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
- Proven experience in developing and bringing ML models to production
- Experience in using Databricks, Azure, pySpark or MLflow is a plus
- Strong understanding in using Git in a multi-environment setup
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
- Background in life sciences or healthcare domain or experience in consulting is a plus
- English language proficiency (C1)
