Wolfsburg- ab sofort- Vollzeit- Job-ID: AI23-1224**Our client** is a Japanese manufacturer of parts for the automotive industry. For its location in Wolfsburg, the company is currently looking for a Strategic Purchaser (M/F/d).

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Observation and analysis of procurement markets
- Initiation and implementation of procurement transactions after coordination with suppliers
- Carrying out target/actual comparisons (deviation analysis, cost control) during project realisation and initiating countermeasures in case of target deviations
- Further development of established global purchasing strategies
- Selection, development and maintenance of strategic suppliers as well as negotiation, preparation and conclusion of supply contracts
- Preparation of cost analyses and negotiations based on offers from suppliers
- Promotion of purchasing activities in cooperation with other locations

**Ihre Qualifikationen**:

- Extensive professional experience as a strategic buyer in the metal industry, preferably in the automotive sector
- Fluency in both written and spoken German and English
- Technical know-how
- Deep knowledge of cost factors (preferably in the automotive sector) and costing procedures
- Experience with business to business contracts
- Strong negotiation skills and a confident appearance
- Intercultural awareness
- Willingness to travel
- Drivers licence
