Senior SCADA Engineer Large-scale Solar PV

located in our office in Berlin.

You want to take responsibility for all aspects of PV engineering. You are motivated by designing PV systems of high quality to the satisfaction of our stakeholders. You want to join a team of highly motivated engineers.

You have the following key accountabilities
- Define Vattenfall’s SCADA architecture for large-scale PV and PV & Battery projects
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to transfer external requirements into technical specifications (suppliers of active components, grid operator, market access, monitoring and control, asset management, IT, integration of batteries)
- Define requirements and select SCADA solutions from the market, including adaptation to individual projects
- Define requirements to comply with regulation on critical infrastructure
- Work closely with contractors and grid operators in the design and commissioning process of individual projects, down to the level of data points and data connections.
- Troubleshoot systems under operation and support our Asset management team in failure analysis

**Profile**:
What we ask from you:

- You have at least five years of experience in SCADA systems, thereof min. two years in large-scale PV systems and/or utility business
- You have profound knowledge of monitoring and control architecture for PV and systems of critical infrastructure
- You hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Automation, Information Technology, or similar
- Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written;
- Ideally, you also speak German fluently;
- You can easily communicate with internal and external stakeholders;
- You have a very structured work attitude and a hands-on mentality
- You enjoy working in a cross-functional, cross-country, diverse team and have an open and friendly attitude;
- You are passionate for renewable energy
