Network Administrator

Join our team in Ilmenau, Leipzig, Erfurt or work remotely full time as Network Administrator (M/F/d).

**What is the role about?**:

- Operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure (VPN technologies, intranet solutions, automation solutions, server installations/Linux).
- Administration of the core network and installation of network systems.
- Immediate measures and solution finding: systematic containment and elimination of occurring faults.
- Monitoring and further development of the network infrastructure and its services.
- Creating technical documentation for network operation.

**You fit in with us, if**:

- You have completed training as an IT specialist, state-certified technician, or comparable training or are a career changer with relevant professional experience.
- You have good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of infrastructure and hardware.
- You have experience in working with common Linux server distributions (RedHat, Debian, and similar).
- You have a great interest in Linux and open-source technologies.
- You work independently and are team-oriented.
- You are fluent in English - German is a plus but not a must.
