Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow - all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible. **Your role** You’ll lead a talented and experienced team of experts in PLE and pure: variants covering pre and post sales services around pure: variants and PLE methodologies, and you’ll develop your team and its services, help set incentives and goals, oversee service delivery and more. In addition to your management duties, you’ll enjoy working directly with our customers and external and internal partners performing client, tenant and customer-facing engineering functions in support of customer acquisition, project installation and custom solutions focused on value delivery through the use of pure: variants and PLE methodologies embedded into the PTC ecosystem and beyond. You’ll have cradle to grave influence as you serve as the liaison between internal groups and our customers, ensuring projects are moving as planned and the customer is well taken care of. This is a wide-reaching role providing ample opportunity to shine. **What **you’ll **do** - Lead the PLE pure: variants Services team in technical sales and solutions. - Direct prospect engagements, including leading building and site tours, sales calls, proposal generation, pricing and contract negotiations. - Serve as the “hub” for project communication. - Evaluate customer needs, and then design and present a preliminary solution. - Help enabling the PTC internal stakeholders as well as partners to become more successful in selling PLE solutions based on pure: variants in the context of the PTC ecosystem, especially but not limited to ALM and PLM products. - Assist with customer RFPs. - Develop cost-engineering and profitability models for large customer opportunities. - Participate in forecasting, pipeline and market analysis. - Liaise with the professional community, including attending technical forums and presenting papers at industry events. - Monitor and evaluate trends in prospect, customer and target tenant base. - And many more **What **you’ll **need** - A bachelor's degree, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years of relevant experience working in the scope of ALM/PLM deployment and methodologies with focus on PLE relevant scenarios/customers OR. - 5 + years working in engineering domains relevant for PLE such as automotive, transportation, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, high tech facilities, engineering consulting or other related field s.
