- ** Build and scale our AI & Data Platform** by driving technical excellence and delivering impactful solutions that power our business.
- ** Lead and grow a high-performing team** of engineers and managers by providing mentorship, support, and clear direction to ensure both personal development and successful roadmap delivery.
- ** Collaborate across the company** with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional leaders to align on planning, prioritization, and resourcing, enabling seamless execution across departments.
- ** Own and drive the long-term technical vision** within the engineering department, shaping our architectural foundations and strategic initiatives.
- ** Evolve our organizational structure** to stay aligned with long-term business and technical goals.
- ** Engage deeply in technical, product, and design conversations**, helping define and refine solutions with a hands-on and strategic mindset.
- ** Play a key role in hiring** and attracting top-tier talent to continuously raise the bar within our team.
- ** Work closely with executive leadership** across functions and drive strategic initiatives.

**What you'll bring**:

- A proven track record of building and leading high-velocity data and/or engineering teams, ideally within fast-paced startup environments.
- Experience scaling an organization from Series B through later growth stages (Series B-E), you know what it takes to evolve alongside the business.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern software development practices.
- 10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years at Director level or above, with a strong technical foundation.A strong network of top-tier talent and the ability to attract and engage exceptional people.
- Excellent communication skills - fluency in English is required, German is a plus.
