With over 300 employees, the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM has been for 50 years one of the leading institutes in Europe for predicting the behaviour of materials using simulations and scientific experiments.

**Was Du bei uns tust**
- You will utilize cutting-edge numerical simulation methods to make significant contributions to the energy transition.
- Your role will involve developing models that accurately describe the compaction process of the mixture comprising active material and conductive carbon black between two rollers.
- You will conduct parametric studies to analyze the effects of compaction pressure, particle shape, and size distributions on the process.

**Was Du mitbringst**
- You have pursued studies in a field related to natural science, engineering, or materials science.
- You possess a keen interest in fluid mechanics and its theoretical foundations.
- Ideally, you have programming skills, particularly in Python and C++.
