We are looking for an experienced professional in the role of Power BI Expert to help us in achieving the same.

As part of the Analytics Microsoft Delivery team you will be working closely with Analytics & Data Science project teams, Enterprise & Information Architects, and Business Unit teams to contribute towards the data strategy; as well as with Application Architects and Solution Architects to implement coherent solution architecture and learn from each other. You are used to working with both internal and external partners and suppliers from multiple countries and cultures.

**What You Will Do**:

- Drive adoption of Self-serve analytics in a large multinational organization and support growing community of business and technical analysts
- Develop, build, configure, unit test and implement solutions based on detailed designs
- Facilitate workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, understanding customer and user requirements
- Participate in pre-studies and analysis of business requirements to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time, and resources according to standard templates.
- Support development of business cases and support the portfolio prioritization process
- Manage and control development work delivered by Essity suppliers in order to ensure expected quality and business outcome
- Ensure that solutions meet business objectives and requirements outlined in the design documentation
- Implement system configuration changes based on defined solution and proposed architecture
- Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented according to Essity IT standards
- Unit test the solution to ensure that it meet quality standards
- Maintain, support and repair solutions to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specification
- Monitor, maintain and support the Power BI platform to keep it performing in accordance with technical and functional specification
- Continuously review and edit requirements, specifications and recommendations related to a proposed solution
- Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the solution specification
- Support implementation of to-be processes, incl. training delivery in order to develop competencies within the business and increase their own capabilities
- Contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions in a matrix organization

**Who You Are**:

- Master/Bachelor degree in a relevant area and more than 6 years of working experience
- Significant experience designing and developing dashboards using Power BI for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards
- Loves sharing experience and knowledge to develop competencies within the IT colleagues and Business partners
- Experience with developing embedded Power BI Reports with external Apps, datasets, and dashboards in a DevOps environment
- Developing and managing Power BI composite data models (direct query & import mode), row level security, experience with languages/technologies such as DAX, M-query, Power BI APIs, Data Flows, CDM, Logic Apps, and Power Apps.
- Performance optimization and working with big datasets and reports in Power BI
- Good knowledge of working with data sources in SAP (B4 and BW), SQL technologies (e.g. Azure SQL, Databricks SQL Analytics), Azure Log Analytics, Azure Blob storage
- Hands on experience in creating and deploying KPI, analytics, and dashboard solutions including design, development, deployment, data engineering, data warehousing, and data management projects and practices
- Hands on Lifecycle management of PowerBI reports, datasets, and workspaces
- Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team and business partners
- Experience with major Big Data platforms and languages such as Python and/or R

**Demonstratable ability and experience in**:

- Shared dataset concept
- Strong dynamic RLS capabilities and understanding
- Experience integration with (Azure) Active Directory Security Groups & service accounts
- XMLA, Dataflows, Power BI APIs, Logic Apps, Power Apps
- Working with and performance managing large amounts of data
