**We are recruiting for an experienced Lead**: People and Recruitment to join our growing tech company in Berlin.

You’ll be shaping and growing our People Operations capacities and building on our current systems to ensure robust performance under the direction of our VP of Business Operations. You will work closely with our cross-functional leadership to facilitate support for our emerging leaders and employees with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and pace.

Tasks
- Strategic advice towards the business in terms of talent needs
- You will stay on top of new trends to create a modern recruitment design and practice
- Adjust our employer brand to further attract great talent
- You help us set up reliable, efficient, and lean processes and structures as we grow - ensuring all things People Operations run smoothly and contribute to creating exceptional people experiences, e.g. around on
- and offboarding, payroll and people administration.
- You also work on People Operations topics hands-on, e.g., with support from a colleague and our external payroll office, you are accountable for conducting our payroll.
- You confidently and responsibly act as an internal labor law advisor, and know when to collaborate with our external legal support.
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, your colleagues from the People team as well as the Finance team, and our senior leadership team as trusted partner.
- You will mentor junior colleagues, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and helping them evolve.
- You will support the collation of data for monthly review.
- Supporting the company leadership group with performance reviews.
- Contribute to the development of our Zizoo Learning and Development plan
- Contribute to organizing events and team building activities throughout the year
- Contribute to the People roadmap to ensure we have a robust system to support rapid scale

**Requirements**:

- You’re a Recruiter & Sourcer with 5+ years of experience in-house or RPO
- Marketing, Tech, Ops - you have hired for a variety of roles, seniority and departments
- Back-end, Front-end, Full-stack and DevOps are terms you understand as well as the technologies that go with them
- You’re not limited to LinkedIn, niche platforms like Stack Overflow and Github are your playground
- Pre-screening calls are no new thing for you, you actually can’t keep track of how many you’ve conducted until now
- Talking with C-level does not intimidate you
- You’re not a recruitment Ninja or Jedi, you make sure you constantly learn and stay on top of new trends
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Native/fluent German and English, other languages a bonus
- Self-motivated with an ability to use initiative within a fast-paced environment
- Resilient and comfortable working with ambiguity
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage work requests working to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written skills
- Ability to gather, collate, analyse and present information as required
- Experience in payroll
- Familiarity with German labor law
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct
- Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
- Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
