The position is funded by DESY's department for Innovation and Technology Transfer for one year full-time or up to two years 50% part-time.
- About your role:
- Carry out collaborative research in an interdisciplinary field of physics, molecular biology and engineering
- Develop and test prototypes of sample holders for electron crystallography
- Take part in crystallography measurements and data analysis
- Disseminate results through presentations and publications
- Conduct market analyses and identify business opportunities

- About you:
- PhD in physics, molecular biology or a related field
- Experience in conducting research and development projects
- Interest in the field of innovation management
- Experience in crystallography is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
