What we are looking for

We are looking for a committed Intern with analytical skills and a hands-on mentality to join our Accounting team.

Tasks

You will support our accounting team and you will get various insights in the different areas of accounting. You will support the team in day-to-day business, including:

- Handling incoming invoices using our automation to take ownership of accounting reviews, approval requests and payments.
- Helping the team to maintain and update accounts receivable: issue and control outgoing B2C and B2B invoices, process refunds and perform dunning.
- Supporting the day-to-day accounting in DATEV
- Maintaining accounts payable, being the first contact person in the team, performing reconciliations and preparing weekly payment runs.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly closings.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- You are an enrolled student for a business management or economics program or another relevant field.
- You have a high sense of responsibility and quality orientation, also and especially in detail.
- You have a hands-on mentality.
- You enjoy working in the accounting department, patience and thoroughness even with repetitive tasks.
- You are analytical, organized and you have an independent way of working.
- You have a high perception, willingness to perform and you bring a lot of motivation to the team.
- You have a good knowledge of German and English.
- You have a good knowledge of Excel.
- DATEV knowledge is a plus.
