**Responsibilities**:
- You are responsible for the implementation of the operational inquiry and procurement process in an international environment
- You create supplier inquiries & offer comparisons
- You will also take on the negotiation and processing of orders for framework agreements, prototypes and tools in the ERP system
- You optimize the product costs in close cooperation with the development department
- You carry out cost, value and market analyzes and prepare relevant market data, presentations and reports
- You select suppliers together with the Purchasing Manager and Commodity Manager
**Qualifications**:
- You have successfully completed a degree (Bachelor's / Master's) with a commercial or technical background
- You have several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry or similar industries
- You ideally have technical knowledge of the consumables and manufacturing processes used (rubber, plastic, die casting, stamping, extrusion, etc.)
- You have intercultural skills as well as strategic, cost-conscious thinking and acting
- You have negotiating skills, assertiveness, a confident demeanor and the ability to work in a team
- You have good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
