DevOps Architect

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support enterprise strategy towards end-to-end automation through setting up, driving and tracking tailored transformation initiatives from the architecture perspective in close collaboration with project / product developers team.
- Develop, coordinate and govern technical blue-prints for end-to-end automation during transition to cloud-managed services
- Manage implementation and maintain the automation of cloud infrastructure and data products build within DPPA department
- Ensure the smooth operation of entire environment
- Evaluate new technical trends in the field of infrastructure and product automation as well as cloud computing
- Detect and evaluate opportunities to improve performance, reliability, automation and costs
- Support project team within DPPA in definition of target automation architecture and roadmap definition for migration
- Support technical integration of cloud solutions in existing IT landscapes
- Provide blue prints and design guidelines for solution architects on the project for new technological components and its automation patterns
- Advise clients and projects on automation and integration best practices and architectural approaches
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for build within DPPA department automation solutions
- Communicate automation architecture blue-prints to various levels of management
- Ability to work hands-on together with solution architects and in collaboration with external partner companies

**Key requirements**:

- Degree in computer science or comparable education and experience.
- 10+ years’ proven experience in an Architect role with design, implementation and support of automation DevOps solutions (on-prem, Azure, AWS)
- Diverse technology stack and architecture expertise including:.NET, Java/Open source stack, C#, Python, Cloud (Azure, AWS), Microservices, middleware and package solutions
- Experience with tools and technologies, not limited to - Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ansible, Kubernetes, Helms, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Selenium, Chef, Puppet etc.
- Advanced experience with Linux incl. Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Advanced experience with Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Services
- Advanced experience with container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, Nomad)
- Infrastructure as code / Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Design and support for CICD pipelines y based on GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub actions, Nexus etc.
- Infrastructure Security Principles
- Advanced experience in designing and implementation of automated testing frameworks including unit tests, performance test, integration test etc
- Experience with cost benefit analysis for product release automation from a technical and financial perspective.
- Project experience architecting, implementing, and optimizing core infrastructure, networking and cloud-based services for business teams or consumer
- Knowledge in the setup and maintenance of Cloud Central Monitoring and Central Logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack
- An interest in staying hands-on technical as well as wearing that team management hat
- Team-oriented and self-reliant work attitude
