As the Head of Clinical R&D at LINDERA, you will be the catalyst for our trailblazing research initiatives, orchestrating effective collaboration among our dynamic Product, IT, Regulatory affairs, and Data Science teams. This pivotal role is your opportunity to fast-track the implementation of the latest research findings into the heartbeat of our operations - product development, testing, and validation. We're looking for an extraordinary leader with the expertise and vision to translate complex scientific insights into practical, groundbreaking products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and develop the Clinical R&D Team inside Lindera.
- Professional onboarding of new employees and communicate status
- Develop, initiate, and supervise clinical studies focusing on validation, acceptance, and efficacy.
- Develop customer understanding and marketing awareness across the team for business support towards customers.
- Establish project management with sub-goals, communication, and deadlines.
- Develop, track, and communicate clinical KPIs.
- Cross functional and regularly use internal communication platforms (e.g., Biz Update, Senior x Board Exchange)
- Oversee the clinical assessments in the field of mobility.
- Lead product development with a focus on gait parameters and mobility analyses.
- Guide certification processes within the parameters of the medical device regulation.
- Management of research projects with external partners.

As the Head of Clinical R&D, you will have full decision-making authority in your technical area and the power to guide and instruct the Clinical Research, Clinical Ops, and working students in this area.

**Qualifications**:

- You have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cognitive Neuroscience or a similar degree
- PhD in Computational Neuroscience is a plus
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- You have proven experience with publications and a deep understanding of the research enterprise
- You have practical experience in data science
- You have experience in medical writing and publications
- First experience in leading a team is a plus
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Python, R, and Matlab
- Basic Knowledge of Machine Learning
- Strong Knowledge in eCRF Tools and softwares
- You speak German on a native proficiency level and are fluent in English
- You are preferrable based in Berlin, willing to move to Berlin or to be in the office in best case 2 days/week
