**Language Coordinator (German language) (M/F/d)**
Lionbridge Games (localization, audio and testing services) is looking for a Language Coordinator (M/F/d) with demonstrated organizational, leadership, and supervisory abilities to manage our client's projects. The position will can be based on a full-time basis in our office in Berlin or Work from home in Germany.
**What You Will Do**:
- Assigning work to translators in-house as well as freelancers, setting guidelines and supervising work in progress
- Preparing, packaging, sending, and receiving files for translation and linguistic quality assurance
- Maintaining product specific glossaries, translation memories and any other linguistic material, and ensure the consistent use of them
- Actively coordinate the resolution of linguistic issues
- Work with other members of the group, in a team or as a project lead, respecting all procedures
- Ensure core product teams produce localization kits and certification kits prior to localization project launches
- Editing of translations
- Quality assurance checks before deliveries
**What You Need**:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in translation into German
- Video games and or entertainment material translation experience is a plus
- Linguistic Degree is a real plus
- Native speaker of German as well as an excellent command of the English language (source language of texts) is essential
- Experience in using CAT software, ideally memoQ
- Enjoys managing several products simultaneously and is able to easily switch context between projects
- An excellent eye for detail and strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to tackling tasks
- Eager to learn and become proficient in new tools
