**Duties**: - Serves as Communications Security (COMSEC) management custodian and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in the Cybersecurity Division of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) within 52d Signal Battalion. - Responsible for working as part of the Battalion’s Cybersecurity Team. - Oversees the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program, assist with Certification and Accreditation, and manages the Risk and Vulnerability programs. - Provides technical support and guidance to NEC mission partners and exercise/rotational units in matters involving a wide range of cybersecurity topics. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid regular or official U.S. Passport. - Three year trial/probationary period may be required. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on Tier 5 background investigation with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). - This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. - The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. - Required to maintain military and states side driver's license. - Must be able to obtain and maintain an IAM-Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M within 6 months of appointment to the position. - May be required to travel up to 15%. - This position is designated Mission Essential. - In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations. - In accordance with AR 690-11, this position may be designated as "Emergency-Essential". Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status. - In the event of a crisis situation or wartime, the incumbent must continue to perform the duties and requirements of the position s subsequent to mobilization or an evacuation order. - This position is designated as Key. The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
