**Business Overview**: **Job Purpose**: Have you ever wondered why your smartphone is so shiny and doesn't get scratched so easily? Or why the screws in the engine compartment of your car don't rust? The answer can be found in the work of surface coaters, who finish metal and plastic surfaces using electroplating and other techniques. By immersing the object in an electroplating bath, metals are applied to the surface using electrochemical processes. This results in corrosion protection, hardness and wear resistance, as well as improved electrical conductivity and appearance. If you want to learn more about this, we are the right place for you **Responsibilities**: What can you expect? During your apprenticeship, you can expect varied and challenging tasks. You will have the opportunity to get to know various coating processes and learn how to prepare chemical baths. Our experienced instructors will show you how to control the chemical baths and perform quality tests. Together we will control the equipment and correct any errors that occur.
