**Head of Legal (w/m/d) DACH**
As Head of Legal (m/w/d) you will manage all legal and regulatory aspects that are inherent to the field of operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), including advising various stakeholders at (senior) management level. You are responsible for setting the right legal context and contractual positions for DLL, in conjunction with the defining of business objectives, taking into account legal risks and the boundaries set by applicable rules and regulations. You will report to the General Manager DACH (MD Markt) and have a functional reporting line to the Head of Legal Europe

**Day to day**
- Managing the DACH Legal team, consisting of 7 members
- Be a sparring partner, by advising on local legal and regulatory matters to relevant stakeholders including DACH management and Regional/Group Legal to safeguard that the market organization´s structure, business, products and processes are in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Setting the strategy for Legal DACH in line with the DLL Group, CLR (Compliance, Legal & Risk) and Global and Regional Legal strategy
- Maintaining a strong connection with the Global Legal function as well as other departments such as Compliance and Risk
- Responsible for monitoring legal and regulatory requirements.
- Managing regulatory legal requirements and acquiring/maintaining relevant licenses and contact with local regulators (a.o. BaFin and Deutsche Bundesbank) in close cooperation with local compliance department
- Overall coordination of transactions and contract documentation, safeguarding the pro-active involvement of concerned departments (e.g. Finance, Credit, Operations), including M&A transactions and implementation of global vendor agreements
- Providing expert legal advice and services tailor-made to the local organization´s structure, business, products and processes
- Manage local corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, and other corporate matters
- Managing local litigation and internal/external investigations (in cooperation with other stakeholders)
- Involved in projects with legal relevance
- Providing legal trainings to local organization and Global Legal Network
- Managing external legal counsel
- (Voting) Member of local committees

- Willing not only to embrace change but to actively look for improvements in current work
- Management experience in a legal management role within a matrix organization is a plus
