Big Data & Advanced Analytics delivers enterprise-grade data platform services that empower business units across Deutsche Börse Group’s value chain to build and scale data products from Business Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence. The team drives standardization and automation through modern technologies and frameworks, enabling efficient, secure, and scalable data innovation.

As the Enterprise Data Catalog & Quality Lead, you will be responsible for developing and operationalizing metadata and data quality frameworks using our hosted SaaS Atlan and data quality solution, implementing robust monitoring and validation processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold data governance standards. You will play a key role in aligning data practices with regulatory requirements and enterprise data strategies, while fostering a culture of data excellence.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the strategy, ingestion, enrichment, and governance of metadata across the enterprise.
- Oversee the integration and optimization of cataloging platforms such as Atlan.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on automation and workflow enhancements within the enterprise data catalog.
- Design and implement data validation and monitoring processes to ensure high data quality.
- Collaborate with compliance, IT, and data governance teams to enforce policies and regulatory adherence.
- Partner with data stewards, domain owners, and technical teams to drive catalog adoption and ensure data quality across domains.
- Develop and lead onboarding, training, and awareness programs to scale catalog usage and data literacy across the organization.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership through management reporting on catalog adoption, data quality metrics, and governance KPIs.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related domains.
- Proven hands-on experience with enterprise data catalog platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Soda, or similar, along with deep knowledge of metadata management and data quality frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in working with IT, business, compliance, and security teams to implement and scale data catalog and quality solutions across the organization.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring enterprise-wide adherence and best practices.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
