**For our headquarters in Sehnde near Hanover, Germany, we are looking for the next possible date for a**:
Head of Logistics (M/F/d)
- As Head of Logistics, you are responsible for the fulfillment area (logistics and warehouse). Your tasks include the management, design and further development of these departments.**Your tasks**:

- You and your team are responsible for everything from the reorganization, optimization and control of the entire logistics department, as well as the continuous improvement of the entire supply chain
- Technical and disciplinary management of the individual departments in logistics and the warehouse
- Leading negotiations with external service providers regarding prices and delivery conditions
- Identification, prioritization and implementation of necessary measures for cost, quality and process optimization
- Responsible manager for export control, custom matters and compliance
- Development of optimal logistics concepts for new procurement and export markets
- Ensuring the smooth design and optimization of interface processes between different areas of the company

**Your profile**:

- Completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Leadership experience in supply chain management, desirable in an international logistics environment
- You maintain an open, communicative and goal-oriented leadership style
- You have experience with and enjoy designing organizations and their processes
- Strong negotiation skills with high communication skills and assertiveness
- You have an analytical, structured and conceptual way of thinking and working
- Very good understanding of IT integrated processes
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel and MS Power Point, as well as appropriate presentation skills
