Nanion Technologies is a rapidly growing instrumentation company offering automated ion channel screening workstations to industry and academic research institutions. Nanion is a globally operating company with headquarters in Munich, Germany. We are looking for a part-time/contract staff scientist in our US subsidiary in Livingston, New Jersey.
This position is located in **Livingston, New Jersey**, **USA**
**The position requires the following**:
- Cell-culture-related tasks such as preparation of buffers, media and passaging of cell lines
- Support of in-house scientific work related to high throughput automation
- Data entry, analysis, and detailed documentation of lab-related tasks in an electronic knowledge management system
- Ordering of lab supplies and organization of the lab space
- The ability to understand technical documentation and properly adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines
**Qualifications**:
- The applicant should have specific lab experience in cell culturing, solution preparation and general lab procedures following standard lab practices and in-house SOPs.
- Experience in cell line culturing recombinant, primary and stem-cell lines preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- Language skills required: English, fluent in speech and writing.
