Senior Specialist Technical Documentation

In your new role you will:
- Liaise with different engineering teams and project managers to **prepare, edit, co-ordinate, and deliver a variety of technical documentation **in a variety of formats to the agreed milestones
- Become an expert in the **documentation tooling and related information flows **so that you are efficient in your job and confident to support and train engineers in aspects of the same tooling as required
- Become **involved in the information architecture **, participating in the planning for reuse between multiple product variants and product families and the **integration of documentation **throughout the product lifecycle
- Link with other documentation groups and experts across the company, seeking ways to **improve the quality and efficiency of Microcontroller deliverables**
You understand your impact on others, think about your behavior, and constantly ask for candid feedback. You actively contribute to putting decisions to work as soon as they are taken. Furthermore, you take in information quickly, evaluate it from different points of view, and uncover hidden correlations in it.
You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A **degree in **Informatics, Electrical Engineering **or a related field
- At least **5 years relevant working experience **in a similar position in an international environment
- Experience of **editing and writing structured technical documentation **and creating graphics
- Detailed knowledge of **DITA XML **and the concept of modular documentation
- Working knowledge of **XSLT, HTML, and CSS**:
- **Strong analytical skills **and a proactive **quality mindset**:
- **A willingness to **continuously learn**:
- **Fluent English communications skills **, German will be an advantage**
