We invite you to influence the way we work and define the way we embrace tomorrow. **Junior Staffing Associate** The focus of this role is to provide support to the current Staffing Manager in DACH with the full range of staffing activities and to provide regular holiday cover for the full DACH staffing portfolio. They will be a champion for thoughtful staffing, driving a balance between the career development of our client-facing staff and the needs of the business. You will also be Staffing Coordinator for up to two of our practices & Internship Staffing within DACH. **What you'll do**: - Work closely with PMDs, Partners and Directors to understand the resourcing needs of each project and continually evaluate the progress of projects to adjust resourcing levels accordingly**.**: - Identify and propose solutions to resolve longer term patterns of over and underutilisation via tracking, maintaining and reporting on operational effectiveness and utilisation. - Support the team to run reports or generate metrics and produce first draft analysis and commentary, such as weekly MI reporting and analysis with the Global Demand and Capacity Daily Dashboard (GCD Daily), Variance Report, Project WashUp Survey, Engagement Onboarding Protocol (EOP) & Industry Specific Reports for the allocated staffing portfolio. - Ensure the forecasting and scheduling tool (Saviom) appropriately reflects people's forecast utilisation and that this is updated each day before the regular updates time slots on the daily GCD dashboard (PowerBI based). - Continuously seek to improve and strengthen the resourcing processes both in DACH and throughout EMEA. Become an integral part of the Global Staffing team. - Getting to know and "onboarding" new talents in the staffing process, conduct quarterly consultant catch ups with all consultants from D-C level in your allocated staffing portfolio, encourage consultants to regularly update individual one pager bios to reflect new project experience as well as maintaining their recorded skills levels on Oracle (OESS). - You will identify and work with the Talent Team to share knowledge and highlight internal talent or development issues / feedback to the Talent Management Team as well as working closely with our L&D teams to highlight any required rapid upskilling initiatives. **What you'll need** - Consulting/professional services background is an advantage. - Strong analysis and presentation capabilities, with excellent working knowledge of Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint. - Degree qualified or equivalent. **Personal Competencies**: - Gravitas and personal impact required to work with and influence a team of challenging senior stakeholders, including MDs both within the team and in the wider firm. - An ability to negotiate, challenge and influence at all levels. - Able to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. - A sense of urgency with an ability and willingness to respond and adapt to changing situations quickly. - Approachable and able to tailor communication style to people at all levels of the organization. - Has a collaborative approach, possesses strong communication skills and is a natural communicator. - Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships. - Is open minded, agile with change and practical. - Working Across the EU: Applicants need to have their own documents or work permits in place that enable them to travel and work across the European Union. _ - AlixPartners is an equal opportunity employer.
