initially for 3 years. The position is suitable for part-time work

**Your profile**:
Completed academic university degree (Master, diploma or equivalent and PhD degree) in computer science, mathematics, computational linguistics, media informatics or related fields. Furthermore, we expect good command of English language, a significant list of publications and teaching experience.

**Your focus**:
You will work in the division for Applied Artificial Intelligence on topics such as explainability (XAI), robustness, information extraction (IE) and natural language processing (NLP), semantic web, everyday intelligence, hybrid cognitive systems, contextual knowledge and comprehensible action decisions, robust and trustworthy AI, and assist in teaching. Teaching responsibilities are based on the LVVO. The opportunity for own qualification will be given.

The position is excellent as a post-doc position and offers the chance to establish your own research group in close cooperation with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. In consultation with the DFKI, an additional part-time employment is possible.
