At our site in Neuried/München, we have established a unique technology platform that applies mass spectrometry-based proteomics to identify cellular drug targets, investigate the mode-of-action of small molecule,s and enable target and biomarker discovery.
To support our Chemical Biology team in München we are looking for a highly motivated
Research Associate (all genders)
Chemical Biology
Full-time and permanent
Key responsibilities include
- Plan, conduct, and analyse biochemical and proteomic experiments to identify small molecule targets, drugs’ mechanism of action, and biomarker signatures
- Contribute to technology development
- Contribute actively to integrated projects by communicating with scientists on site, and participating in interdisciplinary teams alongside colleagues from Evotec and customer scientists
- Interface with client project managers or other customer representatives, and present your results to the customer
Qualifications:
- PhD degree in biology or biochemistry
- Sound experience in biochemical technologies, cell biology, and chemical biology
- Substantial expertise in cell culture
- Background preferably in neurobiology and neurodegeneration
- Experience in mass spectrometry based proteomics is desirable
- Experience in working with international customers in the pharma and biotech industry is a plus
- Team and customer oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and high standard of written work
- Excellent command of the English language; good German skills
