**Tasks**:
Your daily responsibilities in the Editorial Research Intelligence department will be comprised of research, content database management, and editorial work:
**Research & content management tasks**:

- Conducting desktop research using secondary data sources on the chemicals, plastics, and paper industries in a global, North American, and European context
- Developing an understanding of valid data sources and potential data partners in the industry
- Active generation of interesting and engaging research topics for database development in close communication with the team lead and fellow editors
- Managing the SEO-optimized web content via the Statista Content Management System (CMS) in accordance with department goals and guidelines by monitoring usage and keeping the database up to date

**Editorial tasks**:

- Creating and maintaining a host of editorial products, including individual statistics, dossiers (Statista-specific reports), as well as topic, industry, and landing pages
- Striving to develop an in-depth knowledge of your industry topics

**Requirements**:

- Successful completion of undergraduate studies
- Academic background or experience in chemistry is desirable but not required
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills—editorial experience in English is a bonus **(Please send us your CV and cover letter in English.)**:

- Ability to describe complicated data in a concise and comprehensible manner
- Structured, organized, and independent working style with attention to quality, detail, and accuracy
- Knowledge and interest in chemicals, plastics, and paper industry trends
- Additional language skills are a plus: knowledge of Portuguese and/or Mandarin is desirable but not required
