Consulting different Siemens Businesses, particularly Digital Industries, along with the corresponding Patent Attorneys and Lead BU Counsel, in the development of Intellectual Property Strategies. This includes considering the Siemens Framework IP Strategy and working closely with Patent Strategy Managers.

**You’ll make an impact by**
- Creating, presenting, and documenting IP Analyses and IP Strategies, considering Market, Technology, and Innovation Analyses
- Collaborating with Strategists, Technologists, and Experts from different Siemens Businesses as well as with the responsible Patent Attorneys and building of strong and trustful relationships
- Giving IP Strategy Advice on Defend-, Exploit
- and Protect
- Activities
- Commissioning and Supervising In-House IP Searches
- Supporting IP Strategy of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures
- Participating in the development of methods and tools for strategic patent work, particularly IP Portfolio Management, Innovation Analysis, and IP Opportunity and Risk Analyses

**You excel in**
- Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar educational qualification
- Long term job-specific professional experience
- Professional experience in the field of IP Protection is desirable e.g. as a European Patent Attorney
- Experience in Strategic Planning or Technology and Innovation Management
- Domain Expertise in relevant Siemens businesses
- Strategic & entrepreneurial thinking, customer orientation, broad comprehension, decision-making ability & good analytical skills
- Communication, organizational skills and networking abilities
- Ability to collaborate interculturally with developers and management from various international locations
- Very good German and English language skills
