For this journey, we're searching for a Head of Insurances (m/w/d) to launch and scale our insurance vertical.

Tasks

What you'll be doing

**In a nutshell**: Building, launching and scaling our Insurance Services.
- Function as the sparring partner to our Co-Founders on both strategic and operational topics, in order to build, launch, and scale our new insurance vertical.
- Leading business development and account management with insurance companies and broker pools.
- Collaborating with our Legal and Compliance Team to obtain a brokerage license
- Building a strong inbound and outbound team for our Insurance Operations
- Working closely with our Leadership-Team to identify potential areas of growth across the entire company

**Requirements**:
**What we're looking for**:

- You have completed training as an insurance expert or have passed a similar specialist examination
- Experience within a fast-paced environment, preferably in a hyper-growth and vc-funded insurtech company
- Passion for our product and mission
- A strong track record of planning and executing projects - preferably including Insurance and Banking
- A numbers-driven approach, including a deep understanding of relevant KPIs
- Strong knowledge of fintech, brokerage, insurtech, sales, finance, and compliance
- A creative, hands-on person with the ability to engage with anyone and thrive in a dynamic startup environment
- Fluency in both German and English
