At GEA, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Vice President Service, Business Unit LPT Execution EMEA.
- Your responsibilities and tasks:
As Vice President Service, EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in steering and coordinating LPT Service activities across multiple countries and legal entities. Reporting directly to the Head of BU LPT Execution EMEA and with a strong dotted line to the Chief Service Officer (CSO) of the Liquid & Powder Technologies Division, you will be an integral part of the leadership team. This strategic role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in service management.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead a team of three direct reports and work closely with Service Heads in legal entities on a daily basis. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Steering and coordinating LPT Service activities across EMEA, ensuring alignment with the Centre of Competence.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive service business growth, enhance service maturity, and increase coverage of the local installed base.
- Collaborating closely with Technology Business Units (BUs) to strengthen local knowledge and execution capabilities for technology services.
- Driving customer satisfaction through the implementation of world-class service standards and processes.
- Leading the execution of the long-term Service Strategy in alignment with Divisional Service and BU Strategy.
- Acting as a strong ambassador of the organization’s values and objectives.
Your profile and qualifications:
Educational and Professional Requirements
As this role requires you to navigate a matrix organization, strong coordination and people skills are essential. Additionally, we expect:
- A university degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
- Extensive experience in managing a service organization within a matrix environment.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and change management skills.
