What to expect
- You will share your insights with our students on Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, with the aim of enabling them to develop their own attitudes that take on aesthetic-material spatial forms.
- Moreover, you will experiment with the visual, sculptural and performance arts and presentation of - and with - space.
- Your agenda will also include active participation in the further development and design of curricula, as well as in university self-government.
- Last but not least, we are counting on you to also deliver courses in English, supporting our internationalisation strategy in the process.

Your background
- Your expertise is based on a successful degree in architecture, art and/or another creative discipline, as well as recognised (inter)national practical experience.
- A relevant doctorate is desirable. The requirements for recruitment under Section 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (HSG NRW) apply.
- As an architect, artist or creative designer, you are able to demonstrate creatively/artistically significant projects and an oeuvre that is widely acknowledged in the professional world.
- Your work is striking for its special artistic interest in an expanded concept of space and architecture.
- In addition, you are able to present complex interrelationships in an understandable way and to inspire your students with artistic/conceptual issues, encouraging them to put these into practice.
