**Strategic Designer (f/m/d) - 18 months**

DEU-Stuttgart

Empathy and deep understanding of others' perspectives are your core strengths. You address opportunities to your venture team and pitch ideas to top management effectively, ensuring they grasp and value the business concept. Your responsibility is to design our digital products entirely from the customer's viewpoint, understanding their behavior and motivations to identify their true needs, even if they can't articulate them directly. You excel in thorough customer research, going beyond boundaries to learn from them, and use methods like design thinking to develop new venture opportunities from key customer pain points.

**This position is temporary due to parental leave.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Core responsibility for **Strategic Business Design** for digital products and solutions within the HARTMANN group
- Methodological user and customer research based on **Design Thinking**:

- Definition and development of methods for Strategic Design within the group
- Facilitation of **Ideation events** with HARTMANN group
- Preparation of **digital venture pitches** as well as active pitching
- Coaching of digital venture teams in Strategic Design
- Connect with other Strategic Designers in the industry to exchange best practices
- Act as a **customer evangelist** within HARTMANN group for digital solutions by holding presentations within the organization

**Qualifications**:

- University degree (MBA, Psychology or equivalent)
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Business or Strategic Designer using UX and design thinking methods
- True customer orientation and experience in structured customer research
- Experience in Healthcare & Marketing/ Sales beneficial
- Experience in Tech Industry, preferably in small, young companies
- Fluent English and German
- Ability and excitement in creative pitching of new venture ideas
