The Operations and Risk unit in Statkraft’s market segment (M) is the hub of all operations supporting our Trading and Origination activities, and Asset Management for Europe & US. The department is responsible for all processes and operations in the Back Office Europe & US, Risk Management, New Products & Investment Support, and the Digitalization Office for supporting our Trading & Origination activities. The responsibility of the unit is to ensure accurate and high-quality results in all operational activities to support Statkraft’s growth ambitions.

The mission of the Digitalization Office is to create value for Statkraft Trading & Origination activities by providing state-of-the-art digital solutions to MT (Trading), MO (Origination), MR (Operations & Risk) and MF (Finance), with a strategic and professional interface towards IT. Digital solutions include systems and solutions, but also data and data governance.

In our Finance, Risk, and Portfolio Management Platform team (MRDS), we are now looking for a colleague to take the role of Product Owner for an inhouse developed reporting platform, built on SAP BW/4 HANA. The system is currently utilized for financial reporting and reconciliation purposes, but soon its scope will be expanded to encompass daily risk and liquidity reporting as well. The MRDS team is responsible for owning the business-critical IT solutions in the finance, risk-, and portfolio management domain. The team currently consists of 8 colleagues but will be ramping up to cover a larger scope of solutions going forward.

**Your role**:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the ongoing development and enhancement of our rapidly expanding reporting platform. This platform, built on the SAP BW/4 HANA framework, currently serves as a critical component for financial reporting and reconciliation. However, its functionality will soon extend to encompass daily risk and liquidity reporting as well. This platform will play an important role in the future system landscape for our Risk & Finance departments.

As Product Owner, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the product development and enhancement initiatives for the reporting platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our financial reporting and risk management functions.
- Taking ownership of the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user feedback, and strategic objectives.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including finance, risk, and IT teams, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and product features.
- Working closely with the development team, providing clear and concise product vision, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Establish, enable, and engage a strong super user network. Provide coaching and training to super users, empowering them to fulfill their roles effectively in supporting the reporting platform.
- Conducting regular meetings, demos, and presentations to update stakeholders on the progress and gather feedback.
- In collaboration with IT, oversee the yearly budget process and product roadmap. Engage with the system board, monitor service costs, and align budgetary decisions with the strategic direction of the reporting platform.

**Qualifications**:

- Higher education in finance, economics, or engineering with strong academic results.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably within a finance or risk reporting domain.
- Experience in the field of data warehousing, particularly in the SAP BW/4 HANA environment. Additional experience with SAP Analytics Cloud would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with financial reporting processes, including reconciliation, risk reporting, and liquidity reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is beneficial.
